Chapter 260 The Perpetrator Of The Magic Beast Incident

When Alisceon thought of the possibility of her death if it wasn’t for her teacher’s help, she couldn’t help but shudder in fear.

Alisceon didn’t mind if she had died, but she wouldn’t accept it if her death was because of someone’s doings, especially the scheme of her royal siblings.

Because of that, Alisceon was shocked that she had unknowingly emptied the teacup as she kept on drinking tea while having anxiety. After noticing that, she took the teapot and refilled her teacup.

“It seems that you have finally found out the truth about your previous encounters. It was no coincidence.”

Allen commented to Alisceon.

Alisceon saw Allen’s expression as if he had already known about it. Or to be exact, Allen’s indifferent expression looked like he knew almost everything.

Well, Alisceon’s observation wasn’t incorrect since, with Allen’s <Supreme Order> talent, Allen possessed great deduction and analysis skills, not to mention foresight skills. So it wasn’t an exaggeration to say that Allen was nigh-omniscient, but on a less grand scale.

After all, his <Supreme Order> talent was still at Highest Realm Peak Stage, so those Semi-Supreme Beings could still interfere with his use of skills, such as preventing him from seeing the future.

When Alisceon noticed Allen’s all-knowing expression, she couldn’t help but feel that even if all of her royal siblings came up with a grand scheme, it would be easily seen through by Allen.

‘If only I had met the teacher a lot earlier than before…. I wouldn’t have suffered.’

Alisceon thought to herself as she knew that even if her teacher wasn’t a god, he was no less than a god when compared to all mortals in the world. After all, even the Mage’s Association recognized her teacher as the strongest mage, so it wouldn’t be farfetched to claim that her teacher was the strongest human that has ever lived.

And if she had met Allen a lot earlier than before, she would have requested him to be her magic teacher, and if he accepted, then she wouldn’t have lost Philip and her royal knights.

Her purpose in visiting Sirius was to request him to become her magic teacher. But if she had met Allen earlier and become his student, then she wouldn’t have needed to visit Sirius. Hence, she wouldn’t have lost Philip and her royal knights if she had met Allen a lot earlier than before.

But even though Alisceon thought about that, she wasn’t ungrateful enough since she knew that meeting Allen at this time must be the machinations of fate. And she knew that even those so-called gods shouldn’t be powerful enough to control fate since most of those gods in the world represented elements and professions instead of conceptual matters.

“Teacher, did you already know about my royal siblings’ schemes? Even if you didn’t, I am grateful that you saved me, or else I would have died without achieving my dream.”

Alisceon asked and thanked her teacher since she knew that her teacher had been a huge help to her and that she could hardly repay in her lifetime.

Hearing Alisceon’s question, Allen shook his head in response, which caught Alisceon’s attention. Before he explained why he did that, Allen sipped on his tea first before placing it on the table again.

“I am not omniscient, but when you have finished retelling your story, I have already deduced that it wasn’t a coincidence, and I am certain that it isn’t.”

“Why are you certain that it isn’t, teacher? For all we know, it might really be a coincidence and the two of us might just be overthinking things.”

Alisceon asked her teacher another question. She noticed that every question of hers was successfully answered by her teacher, and that was why she wanted to know the answers to her questions from her teacher.

She was confident that her teacher was just being humble, and even if he wasn’t omniscient, she could still guess that he must have great deduction and analysis skills.

Hearing the questions of his student, he didn’t mind answering all of her questions since it was his duty as her teacher.

“Have you remembered the time that I paralyzed the magic beast that attacked your group using my mana alone?”

Alisceon nodded her head after hearing her teacher’s questions since she had indeed remembered about that. It was the time when she had revered him as a powerful mage who was worthy of becoming her teacher.

“Mana is not only made up of the energy from nature and the body but also the energy from the soul, also known as spiritual energy. Because of the presence of spiritual energy in mana, the mana of every living being has a unique signature that cannot be replicated through known means.”

“Even if mana only has a few percentages of spiritual energy, those few percentages are enough for a powerful mage such as me to use the spiritual energy contained in that mana to perform an analysis of my target’s soul. So when I used my mana on the High Realm Intermediate Stage magic beast, I had already analyzed the soul of that magic beast, and so I found an oddity in the magic beast’s soul.”

“There was a magic seal present in the magic beast’s soul which could only be found in any being who had signed a soul contract. Because of that, you can already guess that the magic beast must either be a summoned beast or a tamed beast of a mage that should at least be stronger than the magic beast.”

“From knowing that the magic beast’s power level is at High Realm Intermediate Stage, you must have already known which mage has targeted you, right? A mage that has a power level of at least High Realm Peak Stage or above.”

Allen further explained his analysis to his student. He even gave her a brief lecture about the composition of mana. But when Alisceon heard about him mentioning the possibility of a mage that targeted her, she could only point her finger at one person.

“It must be the Old Mage Of The Mystic Forest Sirius’ doings!”
